Crash Replacement
No one plans to crash, it does not just spoils the ride, sometimes it can ruin the kit! To help bring some balance we are here to ease the pain. As part of our support for choosing Sportful as your ride partner we are here to get you back riding, dressed in comfort and style with our crash replacement program.
How does it work?
If you've got a damaged Sportful product that you've purchased within the last two years, please email info@sportful.co.uk with the following information:
- Product name.
- Description of product including size, colour.
- Description of damage.
- Your first name & surname.
- Your phone number.
- Your sportful.co.uk order number - or - Point of purchase name and phone number
Please include photos of:
- The item for replacement.
- Damaged areas.
- Proof of purchase (if not purchased from Sportful.co.uk)
We'll then get in touch with a returns number, which you'll need to enclose when returning the items to us. Once your items have arrived with us, we'll process your return items, create a new order for the replacement items and send you a link to check out at the discounted crash replacement price.
How much will I save?
If you bought your Sportful garment from sportful.co.uk:
- Within first 30-days we will replace your garment free of charge.
- Within 1-year: 50% off Sportful UK RRP.
- Within 2-years: 40% off Sportful UK RRP.
If your Sportful garment was purchased from another authorised Sportful UK retailer:
- Within 1-year: 40% off Sportful UK RRP .
- Within 2-years: 30% off Sportful UK RRP.
What are Limitations & Exceptions?
- Discount is given strictly against RRP only, regardless of the item's current price.
- You must have a valid proof of purchase dated within two years.
- You must return your items with your return number (unsolicited returns or items sent without a returns number will be recycled).
- All garments should be washed before return. Unclean items will be destroyed.
- You are responsible for the cost of the return. We recommend using a signed-for service - we cannot be held responsible for returned items lost in the post.
- There is a maximum of four garments per return form. If you have multiple items that need replacing, please place in bags of four with a separate form in each bag. You may post all the bags together in one package.
- We will keep the items to be replaced.
- Items for replacement must still be part of the Sportful collection.
- Only like-for-like replacements are available (including colour and size).
- No upgrades are available.
The Sportful Crash Replacement Programme is an additional service and does not affect your normal statutory rights.
Data Protection
In order to process crash replacement requests, it is necessary to collect some personal information.
Personal data collected:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
Where this data is stored:
This information is stored on a Microsoft secure-by-design, GDPR-compliant email server equipped with two-step authentication for additional security.
It may also be transferred to our secure ERP system to complete warranty processes.
What we use this data for:
We use this data to process crash-replacement orders. Once we have ascertained your eligibility for a crash-replacement product, we then use this data to marry up with your Sportful account so we can email you a draft order invoice for your items at special crash replacement pricing.
How long we keep this data:
We will keep your name and email address on file along with your order history until you opt-out so that we can offer post-purchase services including warranty and crash replacement on items you have purchased. If you choose to remove this personal data, we may be unable to meet your post-purchase support requirements.
